A tuxedo is the one garment where fit is the whole point. There is no pattern, no colour and no accessory doing any work for you – just the line of the shoulder and the break of the trouser. It is also the garment most men rent, wear badly once, and hand back.
We have made tuxedos in Bangkok since 1972. Yours is drafted to your measurements from a pattern we make for you and keep on file, so the next one is a message rather than a fresh start.
Come and see the cloth in person, or contact us with any questions.
How it’s built
Most of our clients choose a half-canvassed construction for a tuxedo, so the chest and lapel hold their line through a long evening; fully-canvassed is available if you’d like it, along with a fused construction option if you’re in a rush. Whatever you choose is agreed with you.
How long does it take
At least five or six days including two fittings for a half canvas construction. Longer for a full canvas, and shorter for fused. If you’re in a rush and your event is close, let us know and we’ll see what we can do. If we can’t help, we’ll say so.
A note on rentals
We don’t rent tuxedos. If you need one for a single evening and renting genuinely is the right answer, tell us and we’ll point you somewhere rather than sell you something you don’t need.
