How it works for a group

You choose one cloth and one cut, and we make it to each person’s measurements. A tall groomsman and a short one end up in the same suit – the same colour, the same lapel, the same buttons – each cut to fit the man wearing it. For groomsmen who can’t get to Bangkok, we can work from measurements provided, normally of an existing suit that fits well.

The groom

The groom’s suit can quietly differ – a different lining, a slightly sharper lapel, a waistcoat where the party has none – so he reads as the groom without stepping outside the group’s look. We’ll talk through how much to separate it.

A more vocal example in the context of tuxedos: the groom might wear a white tuxedo jacket with a peak lapel, while the groomsmen wear black tuxedo jackets with shawl lapels, for example.

The cloth

Wool blends and pure wool for most weddings; linen or a wool-linen blend for a beach or hot-season ceremony, which photographs beautifully and won’t leave anyone suffering. You’ll usually see and handle every option in person.

Timing, and planning ahead for a group

A single suit takes five or six days, so give us as much lead time as you can as different members of the group may have different schedules and availability. If people are arriving at different times, tell us the schedule and we’ll plan fittings around it.
